I’m Nizar — a Senior UI Artist at Ubisoft Montréal, passionate about turning pixels into unforgettable player experiences.
Born in Tunisia and raised in France, I packed my bags in 2024 and moved to Canada to keep chasing the dream I’ve had since I first picked up a controller. From the Atari 2600 all the way to the PlayStation 5, video games have always been more than entertainment for me — they’re my universe.
With over 10 years of design experience, I help studios and companies craft UI that’s not only beautiful, but truly intuitive. My journey started with a degree in Graphic Design in Paris, and since then, I’ve worked on 80+ projects across industries like startups, automotive, e-commerce, and — my biggest passion — video games. Today, I’m proud to have contributed to the launch of 10 released titles 🎮.
What drives me? Creating interfaces players don’t just use — they love.

Under the direction of Lead Artist UI, I was in charge of the creation and realization of interface and HUD following a graphic charter previously established by the art direction.
I imported the created resources and assembled them in the game Unreal Engine respecting the technical constraints of different game consoles.

B2Expand is a Lyon-based startup developing a video game ecosystem based on blockchain technology.
It made the first French ICO (Initial Coin Offering) in 2016.
Its goal is to give video game developers and gamers the opportunity to participate in the creation of an innovative user experience.
The studio asked me to work on the UX and UI part of the HUD interface of their game "Light Trail Rush".

Within the Design team, I work in collaboration with different trades (Game Designer, Programmer...) in order to design intuitive and functional interface mechanics, perfectly adapted to different mobile games.
- I participate in the definition of interface functionalities and ergonomics
- Design and implement platform-specific interface systems while preserving the uniformity of visual and logical aspects
- Prototype interaction concepts for the game, in collaboration with the design and programming teams - Deliver interface development tools in collaboration with the programmers
